Welcome to Sacred Heart of Jesus. Since 1953, this parish has gathered the faithful of Lanark Village and the Forgotten Coast for worship, sacrament, and friendship. We are small by design and close by nature. You will find no crowd to get lost in here. You will find neighbors who know your name and a community glad you came.
Our roots run deep along this quiet stretch of the Gulf. Generations have knelt in these pews, including fishermen, retirees, veterans, and families who came looking for a slower, steadier kind of life. The world beyond our coast moves fast. Inside these walls, it slows down. Here you can breathe, pray, and remember what matters most.
We keep things simple on purpose. Mass is unhurried. The welcome is real. Coffee and conversation follow, and no one stands alone for long.
